*UPDATE* CakePoker.com accepts US players using ePassporte *UPDATE*

As I mentioned earlier a new poker rooms has rescently come to my attention, Cake Poker. The first thing I noticed when browsing cakepoker.com was the great usability of the site, many poker sites just plaster you with download links before you even get a chance to decide if you wish to download or not, they also give a friendly appeal to their users.

Support:
Although I haven’t needed to use their support I have heard very good feedback with regard to response times. However their site only lists an email address and it takes a lot of digging to find a phone number.

Software:
Out of all the poker rooms I frequent I enjoy the interface at cakepoker the most. You can customize your own character which gives you and other players a more personal feel, plus it makes it easier to follow players gameplay then just by the username. The looks and feel is very nice and the software runs very smoothly. Download of the software is just over 12megs, so if your on dialup it takes time!
